The ringmaster and host of all ten events was Steven Butler, author of The Diary of Dennis the Menace series. We were one of 98 schools across the North West taking part and some of our children had books signed by Cressida Cowell. Some authors who were also there were; Frank Cottrell Boyce, Cressida Cowell, who's books How to Train a Dragon have been made into two successful Hollywood movies, picture book creators Lydia Monks and Jonny Duddle, Holly Smale, Danny Wallace and Sophy Henn, plus bestselling authors Cressida Cowell and Michael Rosen.
