Spring Term Newsletter

Our Class Governor is Rebecca Dickinson.

Welcome to our final term with Gorilla Class! In our class we have Mrs O'Shea as the class teacher and Mrs Quinn as our teaching assistant.  We have a very exciting term planned for our class of 32 Gorillas, so please keep checking our photo section below, Twitter and Seesaw for updates.

This term our topic work will be looking at emotional mapping, then extending our  knowledge to 4 figure grid references.   In Science we will be exploring plants, specifically looking the functions of a plant and how we can better understand its environmental need. In English we will be reading The Enchanted Wood by Enid Blyton.  The children will write their own adventurous chapter, I wonder where the tree will take them? In Maths No Problem we will be looking at shape and graphs.

Thank you for your continued support.  If you have any queries or questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school office. I look forward to updating you on your child’s progress in year 3 in July, when you will receive your child’s report and targets for year 4.
