British Week
During the last week at Woodlea Junior School, the children have had a British Week. They have been looking at all things ‘British’; the culture, landmarks, traditions, monarchy and British Values.
As part of the week, the chimps had a visit from a ‘Community Court’, where they had an opportunity to participate in a mock trial, playing the various roles of the court officials.
The children made up some laws, based on the British Values, which they have learned about.
