Summer 1 Overview – Chimps Class

In Summer 1, we will continue to prepare for SATs in both maths and English, with the big week soon approaching in May.

Within the wider curriculum, we will also be studying a variety of fun and interesting topics. History will see us examining the role of migration in British history as a theme across the eras studied across Key Stage 2, alongside a look at the role of the Church within Christianity in RE. Science will see us looking at light, and in art we will be linking to our earlier topic of World War 2 as we look at plaster casting to create our own medals. Our PSHE will start to look at relationships education, while in PE we will study striking and fielding.

Summer 1 is sure to be another action packed and exciting term of learning!
