Spring 2 Term Overview – Chimps Class

In Spring 2, we will continue to prepare for SATs in both maths and English, whilst also continuing to look at Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as our source text to prepare for our writing of instructional texts.

Within the wider curriculum, we will also be studying a variety of fun and interesting topics. Geography will see us exploring rivers and their impact on Lancashire, RE will see us returning to Christianity and science will focus on the circulatory system. In addition to this, we will continue with our French and PE studies, and our music will be inspired by Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Furthermore, we will continue to explore the media and keeping safe whist interacting with it in PSHE, our DT will focus on bridge building and our computing will see us looking at graphic design and web design.

Spring 2 is sure to be another action packed and exciting term of learning!

Homework

Homework will be set from Friday to Friday, and this week consists of 2 Reading Pluses at home, 2 reads in reading books and 10 games of garage and studio on TT Rockstars, as well as the set list on Spelling Shed.
