Summer Term 1
As part of our geography work, we have been researching the layers of the Amazon Rainforest. We looked at the different layers and found out which plants and animals lived in each layer. I’m sure you will agree, these are fantastic pieces of work. We are extremely proud of them.
Layers of the Amazon Rainforest
Earth and Space
In science, we have studied how day and night is formed, how the seasons are formed and the phases of the moon.
Persuasive Speeches
As part of our English work, we have written persuasive speeches. Our aim was to persuade people to stop deforestation. What do you think?

Just a quick reminder that it is our Anglo-Saxon day a week on Friday (December 4th). It would be great to see as many of the children as possible come in Anglo Saxon costume to give the day an authentic feel (thank you to everyone who has already helped with sorting their child's costume). Costumes do not have to be expensive or overly fancy, if you are stuck for ideas please refer to the Seesaw message from a few weeks ago, where I provided costume ideas with a budget in mind.
Thank you again for your continued support,
Mrs Strickland

Time Team, Snow Leopard style. We had a great time this morning (23.10.2020) carrying out out archaeological dig. We were wet and muddy but it did not deter us from making some magnificent finds.
Maths - No Problem
We have been really enjoying the work we are doing in maths using Maths - No Problem. He are some photographs of the types of things we have been doing.
Week beginning 21st September.
We have had an extremely busy week this week. We have completed three maths tests, written diary entries, found out which seas and oceans surround the United Kingdom and had a Healthy Eating and Football morning. The children have been fantastic and this has shown in the massive bead totals that we have collected. Below are some photographs of our Healthy Eating and Football session.
Welcome to Snow Leopards.
Anglo Saxons
The first theme we will be studying is The Anglo Saxons. We will be looking at where they fit in the chronology of time, how they have improved our lives and where they settled within the United Kingdom.
